The Retired Women Teachers of Ontario / Organisation des enseignantes retraitées de l’Ontario
Windsor-Essex Branch located in southwestern Ontario is on the south bank of the Detroit River. We welcome all former women educators, including retired women who were Educational Assistants, Early Childhood Educators and Child and Youth Workers, who have taught for any length of time in our county, province or beyond. Annually we host three luncheons for members in the months of May, September and December. Members provide donations of food and toiletries at luncheons to assist local charities serving women and children. In addition, we provide opportunities for members to gather and participate in such activities as book chats, tours of local historical sites, attend performances or other interest activities.
We hope that there will be many more occasions to share in fun events as we follow our motto of Caring and Sharing.
